Bring home a piece of Tanzania! Our beautiful Massai Warrior Sunset Batik Art depics the massai Warriors marching out at sunset. All Batik paintings are made and produced in Tanzania by brushing hot liquid wax onto a piece of cotton cloth in a desired pattern and design. The cloth is then dipped into a dye which adheres to all the areas that are not covered by the wax. The wax is then removed and reapplied repeatedly for each color used. This is a tedious time consuming endeavor that yields exceptional art.
