This beautiful white beaded bold and authentic necklace is hand made by the Maasai women in Tanzania.  We directly work with Maasai artisans to produce and market high-end beaded jewelry based on traditional beading techniques infused with modern aesthetics.

Maasai women are skilled artisans who are world wide known for their use of colorful glass beads.  Maasai culture is highly patriarchal and it is the women who are hurt the most by issues of structural inequality.  With us working directly with them, they are finally given the opportunity to progress both socially and economically.

This elegant elegant necklace can worn at any occasion.  Can be dressed up over an evening outfit or just worn with a plain tee shirt.  Because this necklace is hand made, design and size may vary slightly.
