Beaded Cameroon Shield | Rainbow Design

Our Rainbow Beaded Cameroon Shield is a great way to add character to a shelf, table or office. This shield showcase a cowrie center and edging, along with vivid colors that circle the shield. Hand carved from one piece of wood by the Tikar tribe of Cameroon making each shield unique. The shields are adorned with a combination of glass beads, cowrie shells and manilla string.

Traditionally these shields were used as defensive weapons, decor or ritual objects in Africa, which symbolizes status and wealth.
