Burkino Faso Basket | Natural

Handmade by women artisans in western and southern Burkino Faso.  The baskets are weaved by the most skilled craftswomen each taking a week to complete one basket. Each basket features a unique natural pattern.  

Baskets are used for winnowing grain, collect and store harvested roots and rice, decorate their homes by hanging the basket on the wall.  Due to the nature of handmade, no two will be the same.
