Beaded Cameroon shield Long 03 - White

Our Beaded Long Cameroon Shield is a great addition to any room. This one of a kind piece is  hand carved from one piece of wood by the Tikar tribe of Cameroon. The shields are adorned with a combination of glass beads, cowrie shells and manilla string.

Traditionally these shields were used as defensive weapons and also as decorative or ritual objects which in Cameroon symbolizes status and wealth.
